Quick question (well, it might not be, for you to answer :)) : why is the cream revised?? I noticed that raw fermented honey, unrefined cocoa butter, cod liver oil, Co-Q10, vitamin E, suma powder, aloe vera juice, and raw whey aren't listed as ingredients anymore.? Just curious :)
Unrefined cocoa butter - my supplier stopped supplying. Could not find it anywhere else. (boy did it smell beautiful, at times would just open the lid and inhale!) As I have quite a large chunk of the base cream as unrefined shea butter, didn't really need to add another plant saturated fat. Many similar compounds and structures. I am adding extra raw cacao powder to make up for this also.
raw fermented honey, and whey, caused the cream in conjunction with the goji syrup to continue to ferment in the warmer months, causing 'explosions' and freaking out shop keepers. The acidic ionised water has the same ph causing principles and trace minerals needed for skin. With added benefit of not causing explosions but helping to preserve the cream. The goji syrup and bee pollen between them supply quite an abundance of enzymes also.
Cod liver oil is excellent for skin, but unfortunately smells, and it is hard to hide the smell. Some complaints due to this. The lard has the same vitamin A and D capabilities as well as being infused with fresh and dried comfrey - at a very concentrated level. Comfrey used for its allantoin/germanium properties. Aloe vera initially used because it is also very high in allantoin. Aloe vera juice is diluted with water and not as strong as comfrey, so not needed.
co-Q10 and vitamin E, both synthetic vitamins which I am no longer using. MSM provides sulphur and accomplishes many of the skin benefits of Co-Q10, including boosting collagen production, and the vitamin E was made from Rice bran, and pretty sure cold pressing not used in extraction technique. The unrefined plant oils of shea and cold pressed castor have abundance of vitamin E, and also have their vitamin E intact in its natural state, so extra not needed.
Suma powder could not be easily dissolved and required messing around with tea making, and straining through muslin. The ginseng/gingko is closely related to Suma, and has many anti-aging properties of their own. They come in liquid form with a honey base. Much easier to use.
I hope this answers your questions! I have tried to keep the cream with equal parts of: antioxidants, superior fats, enzymes, trace minerals, and anti-aging specific super foods/herbs. By using the base cream, many of these ingredients no longer have to be heated and watched (so don't go over 40C) making the cream more 'raw' and nutritious, with less wastage.
