After turning my health around by cutting out refined, processed foods, and returning to nourishing my body with whole foods, raw as well as cooked, with lacto-fermented condiments and sauces, I wanted to buy skin care which would also nourish my skin on the outside.              

I couldn't find any! 

So I decided to make my own.  The Witch's Brew started out as a hobby and passion.  It truly was a witch's brew of all kinds of concoctions!  I wanted organic products which actually worked!  Therefore I made all my products super concentrated which packed a punch.  I experimented with soaps, cleansers, all kinds of facial and body creams, hair shampoos and conditioners. 

However I soon found out what works for me, doesn't necessarily mean it will suit everyone!  There are a lot of people who are super sensitive, and allergic to all kinds of things.  Rather than try to cater to everyone - which is impossible! - I have scaled down my business to incorporate three products; an anti-aging cream, a base cream, and a hair conditioner which also happens to kill nits and heals dandruff.

I am currently studying herbal medicine, nutrition, as well as traditional folk lore, remedies, dance and traditions.  My greatest inspirations include Sally Fallon - President of Weston A Price Foundation, and Dr Richard Schulze - Herbalist extraordinaire, the Culpepper of his time.

I believe its time we took back our power over the food/herbs we eat, liquids we drink, and what we put on our skin.  For this reason, my products are as natural as I can make them whilst still being user friendly.
